Enterprise

Your apps.
Your way.

For organisations with more than 25 people: every h5bits app, the full source code, and the right to change it, build it and roll it out inside your company. And if you’d rather not do it yourselves — we’ll build it with you.

The licence

Make it yours

An Enterprise licence is a yearly agreement that lets you, inside your organisation:

  • Read and audit every line — for security review and compliance
  • Customise the apps — your features, your defaults, your branding inside
  • Build and sign them yourselves, with your own Apple Developer ID
  • Distribute them to your people through your own MDM
  • Integrate with your systems — SSO, internal data, your AI agents through MCP
  • Keep using and building the last version you received, forever

Not allowed: selling, publishing or sharing the source or builds outside your organisation, or building a competing product.

How it works

01

Talk

Tell us what you need: which apps, how many people, what should be different.

02

Pilot

Try the apps with a team. During the beta it costs nothing.

03

Agreement

A yearly licence scaled to your organisation, plus any consulting as a separate, fixed scope.

04

Source

Access to a private Git repository with the code, the build scripts and a guide to building.

05

Build & roll out

Your engineers — or ours — make the changes, sign the builds and ship them through your MDM.

06

Stay current

Every new release lands in your repository; merge it when it suits you.

Enterprise questions

Which source do we get?

The full source of every app in your agreement — the native Mac shell (Swift), the interface (TypeScript and React, or Rust for Klipp and Tall), the build scripts and the MCP tools. In a private Git repository you can pull from whenever a new version ships.

Who signs the builds?

You do, with your own Apple Developer ID, so your Macs trust them through your own MDM. We help set it up the first time.

Do we have to maintain a fork forever?

No. Keep your changes small and we can merge the generally useful ones back into the product, so every new release already has them. Company-specific parts stay yours.

What does the licence not allow?

Selling, publishing or sharing the source or the builds outside your organisation, building a competing product, and using the h5bits or app names on modified builds you give to others.

What if we stop paying — or you disappear?

You keep the right to use and build the last version you received, forever. If you want extra certainty, we can put the source in escrow with a third party.

Is consulting tied to the licence?

No. You can buy consulting on its own — for a custom feature, an integration, or help rolling the apps out — and the licence on its own too.

How do you price it?

The licence is a yearly agreement scaled by the size of your organisation. Consulting is a fixed price per feature or a day rate, agreed up front. Tell us what you need and we’ll come back with a proposal.
